AUA 2027 San Diego Dinners, Receptions and VIP Events

18,000 Attendees. A Limited Number of Private Rooms.
If your team is hosting an AUA 2027 San Diego dinner, the clock starts early. Per the San Diego Convention Center calendar, the American Urological Association 2027 Annual Convention is scheduled for May 21–24, 2027, with about 18,000 expected attendees. Confirm dates and the program schedule with the organizer.
A meeting that size fills Downtown. Device and pharma exhibitors, sponsors, medical-affairs teams and the agencies that support them are all looking for private rooms in the Gaslamp and around the Convention Center on the same few evenings. The rooms with the best layout, location and kitchen go first.
We find and secure yours. Send your headcount, night and budget, and you'll have real options within 24 hours. There is no planning fee. The venues pay us, not you. You pay only event costs such as food, beverage and any venue minimum, all itemized in your proposal before you commit.

Planning an AUA 2027 San Diego Dinner or Reception
Large medical meetings generate several kinds of events in the same week, and we plan each of them:
- Client and customer dinners. A private room for your account leads and the people they came to see. See our executive and client dinners page.
- Sponsor and VIP receptions. A cocktail hour or full buyout for a larger invite list after the exhibit hall closes.
- Medical-affairs and field-team dinners. Structured dinners with AV for a short presentation and menus built to your budget.
- Agency-managed events. We act as the local venue team for agencies running events for their clients.
For pharma, device and biotech hosts, our biotech and pharma group dinners page explains how we handle fixed menus, drink limits and logo menus. Association groups planning their own member events can see our association and conference group dining page.

Where to Host Near the Convention Center
The Gaslamp Quarter sits right beside the Convention Center, so most show-week dinners land there: steakhouses, historic dining rooms and rooftop spaces within a short walk of the exhibit hall. The wider Downtown core and the Embarcadero waterfront add options near the bayfront hotels.
Two private venues are bookable only through us. Greystone has a supper-club feel suited to a hosted VIP dinner, and Kaluu is more relaxed for a reception or team night. See Greystone for details.
Our San Diego Convention Center page shows how we time dinners around session schedules and exhibit hours, so guests can walk over without rushing.
Book Early, Plan to Your Rules
With about 18,000 expected attendees, this is one of the larger medical meetings on the Convention Center calendar, and private dining demand rises with it. Start when your team confirms its plans. Early requests get the widest choice of rooms and nights; later requests still get options, with proposals back in 24 hours.
Healthcare hosts often work within internal rules on meals and venues. Share your per-person caps, guest-type restrictions or approval steps up front, and we'll source only rooms and menus that fit.
Every event includes venue and vendor sourcing, rate negotiation, contract review, a timeline and budget, and event-day coordination. Dietary requirements are collected in advance and built into the catering brief.
We are an independent venue-sourcing service and are not affiliated with or endorsed by the American Urological Association or its annual meeting.
Large and Small Convention Dinners, Done
For the California Cattlemen's Association, we planned a VIP dinner for 245 convention guests at a location near the Gaslamp chosen to suit their convention needs, with a refined cocktail hour, custom table layouts and menus featuring their logo.
Smaller works too. For Phibro, we found a business-professional Gaslamp restaurant for a 40-guest client dinner after a day at the Convention Center, with a single-table setup, a budget-friendly group menu with a drink limit and logo menus. More planning tips in our executive client dinners guide.
AUA 2027 Dinner FAQs
When is AUA 2027 in San Diego?
Per the San Diego Convention Center calendar, the American Urological Association 2027 Annual Convention is scheduled for May 21–24, 2027, with about 18,000 expected attendees. Confirm dates, session times and exhibit hours with the organizer before you choose your dinner night. We plan around the schedule you confirm.
How early should we book?
As early as possible. A meeting this size puts heavy demand on private rooms in the Gaslamp and around the Convention Center, and the best spaces book first. Start when your team confirms who is traveling. If you're late, ask anyway: we turn proposals around within 24 hours.
Can you work within our compliance rules for healthcare guests?
Yes. Tell us your per-person limits, alcohol rules, venue restrictions and approval steps, and we'll source only options that fit. We build fixed menus and drink limits into the proposal and can provide itemized costs for your records. Your compliance team makes the final call.
What does a VIP dinner or reception cost?
It depends on headcount, venue, menu, bar plan and any room minimum. Your proposal lists every event cost before you commit. Our planning is free because the venues pay us, and because we negotiate, groups often get better pricing than booking direct.
How large a group can you handle?
We plan for groups from 10 to 500+. That covers a private room for a dozen key customers, a 245-guest VIP dinner like the one we planned for the California Cattlemen's Association, and full buyouts for larger receptions. Many hosts book more than one event that week, and we can source them together in one proposal.
Are you the official AUA hospitality provider?
No. We are an independent venue-sourcing service and are not affiliated with or endorsed by the American Urological Association. We help exhibitors, sponsors, agencies and attendee groups book their own private dinners and receptions during the meeting, planned around the schedule you confirm.
